Do you want to make a difference in Canada?
"…And what does the Lord require of you?
But to act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8
The Micah Project exists to help Canadians who want to make a difference get connected with local and national campaigns that stand for doing the right things the right way.
In a time where politics has increasingly become nastier, more divisive and tribal, we exist to help bring people together who believe in the principles of
Doing Justice (We have a responsibility to do the right thing)
Loving Mercy (Treating others with compassion)
And Walking Humbly (Politics should be about service over celebrity).
The motivation and inspiration for the Micah project comes from the Biblical text of Micah 6:8, “And what does the Lord require of you? But to do justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." but it is not limited to people one denomination, religion or creed. These principles can resonate with Canadians who may or may not hold a worldview shaped by faith.
The first call is to act justly, or as it is often translated, "to DO justice". We believe we all have a responsibility to take action and make a difference.
Join the Micah Project and let us help you get connected so YOU can make a difference in your community and in our nation.
