Biological Male Sexually Assaults Biological Female at Women's Shelter

The Story: A biological male who self-identifies as a transgender woman turned himself in after sexually assaulting a vulnerable woman at a Windsor, ON, women’s shelter. Several outlets that originally used both the attacker's new name—Desiree Anderson—and his original name—Cody D’Entremont—quickly scrubbed the original name from their stories. Despite the suspect remaining at large, the outlets removed critical identifying information about the perpetrator—including a picture that clearly reveals his male characteristics. Other outlets removed the story altogether. After capturing Anderson, Windsor Police identified him as female, placing him alongside other women immediately after he assaulted a woman.

Conservative Party Disqualifies Pro-Life Candidate from Local Nomination Race

Story: The Conservative Party of Canada’s Candidate Selection Committee has barred a pro-life candidate from running for the Party’s nomination in the reliably Conservative riding of Oxford, Ontario. In a statement, the Party indicated that it had disqualified candidate Gerrit Van Dorland for “a failure to comply with the obligation to disclose required information during the candidate application process.” According to pro-life strategist Scott Hayward, however, “the party gave no reason for Gerrit’s disqualification.The real issue is that Gerrit is pro-life and more than likely to win the nomination.”

Communist Party of China May Have Interfered in Canadian Elections 

The story: In recent weeks, multiple stories have emerged with credible accusations of Communist Party of China (CCP) interference in the previous two election cycles. These accusations range from influencing the nomination of a current Liberal Member of Parliament to influencing Justin Trudeau through covert donations funnelled to the Trudeau Foundation. Leaks from Canadian Intelligence members continue to allege that the Prime Minister had been briefed on the issue of CCP interference multiple times and as early as 2021, something he had previously denied. 

The country might be running out of abortion pills but Canadian women say they want more kids, and a potential landmark gender surgery case.

Ontario Woman Suing Doctors After Gender Reassignment Surgery 

Story: A 34-year-old woman is suing eight medical professionals for not offering alternative treatments for her mental health issues before beginning hormone treatment and irreversible surgery to remove her breasts and womb. “Michelle’s stated desire to become transgender was never challenged and it was treated to the exclusion of her other serious mental health issues, closing the door to alternative treatment options,” her statement of claim says. Several years after the surgery and 9 years after she was initially referred to a therapist for her mental health issues, she was finally diagnosed with ADHD, borderline personality disorder, clinical depression, autism, and PTSD.

“A society that justifies euthanasia for juveniles needs to pause and reflect on whether it truly values life.”

Emergencies Act Enquiry Report Released.

Story: Commissioner Paul Rouleau released the over 2000 page report following the Enquiry into whether the threshold had been met for the implementation of the never before used Emergencies Act to shutdown the freedom Convoy. Rouleau said he believed the threshold had been met, but also noted many failures of government and policing that had led to the situation.

Significance: We don’t need to kid ourselves. Zero people in Canada, including the members of the government were ever going to change their minds about the Freedom Convoy, Justin Trudeau or the Emergencies Act because of this report. Instead of focusing on the implementation of the Emergencies Act itself, it should never be forgotten that Justin Trudeau unnecessarily introduced a widely scorned requirement for truckers to be vaccinated, fuelled the division with inflammatory language, ignored what was going on in front of his doorstep, and then turned to the most extreme solution. Regardless of the technicalities of the Emergencies Act, it was ultimately a sign of failed leadership. Today’s news has no impact on that fact.

Biologically Male Infant Rapist Transferred to Women’s Prison that Houses Children

Story: According to a report from Redux, Adam Laboucan, who was convicted of raping a 3-month-old baby in 1997, has been transferred to a BC women’s prison that contains a mother-baby unit after he claimed a transgender identity.

Report: Montreal Doctors Abort 38-week-old Unborn Baby

The Story: The Catholic Register has obtained texts from a Quebec nurse documenting the late-term abortion of a 38-week-old unborn baby at Montreal’s Sacré-Cœur Hospital. According to the report, “the nurse said the baby would be euthanized in advance of a caesarean section.” The texts also “identified the mother as a homeless woman with a history of substance abuse.” The Hospital did not respond to the Register’s request for comment.

Significance: As a result of the 1988 Morgentaler decision striking down Canada’s lone abortion law—and Parliament’s subsequent failure to pass legislation—Canada is the only Western nation with no restrictions on abortion. Because of this, abortion is legal until birth and is subject only to the professional medical standards that, in this case, permitted the late-term abortion of a 38-week-old unborn baby. The inherent value and dignity of every human being necessitates legal protection for all children as a fundamental responsibility of any just government—regardless of that child’s age, size, or economic circumstances. Tragically, Canada has failed to fulfill this divinely ordained obligation.

You have almost certainly heard that Dr. Jordan Peterson is being threatened by the Ontario College of Psychologists for criticizing the Prime Minister. Many articles have already been written about the almost-unbelievable details of this story, but the point of concern for regular Canadians is not that a public figure like Jordan Peterson is under threat of losing his license. What is most concerning, rather, is the message they’re trying to send to the regular doctors, therapists, and psychiatrists who are simply trying to do their job and serve their neighbours.

Canada’s rapid expansion of euthanasia has raised alarms around the world. The UK’s Daily Mail warned America, be very afraid: astonishingly, Canada is now euthanizing 10,000 of its citizens a year. In a recent New York Times article What Euthanasia Has Done to Canada?, columnist Ross Douthat highlights: ‘the Canadian system shows exactly the corrosive features that critics of assisted suicide anticipated, from health care workers allegedly suggesting euthanasia to their patients to sick people seeking a quietus for reasons linked to financial stress.’ 

As a newly-elected MP in 2016, one of my first speeches in the House of Commons was on the Liberals’ euthanasia plans in Bill C-14. At that time, I warned that opening this door was dangerous as it ‘leaves segments of society vulnerable, provides no protection for professionals or institutions, and undermines the credibility of our healthcare system and the important work healthcare providers do to help people live.’

Ever since stories started coming out about people who were choosing assisted suicide not because they wanted to die but because society couldn’t help them live, I have felt sick to my stomach more than once.

When I listened to Justice Minister David Lametti discuss how the government was obligated to help people commit suicide who couldn’t physically do it themselves, my skin crawled.

With UCP Leader Danielle Smith winning her bid to be re-elected to the Legislature on November 8th, the nearly wholesale change in Conservative leadership in Canada is complete.
