A Matter of Life and Death

We are through the looking glass when it comes to assisted suicide and it is a dark and scary place.

The slippery slope that we tried to warn the government about when they implemented their original and deeply flawed legislation has turned into a cliff.

Now thousands of Canadians, many of whom are not even facing imminent death, are choosing to end their life and their own government is cheerfully waving goodbye as they plunge to their death with no lifeline to grab onto, nobody holding their hand and telling them they have value. No system in place to do absolutely everything possible to convince them that as a person they matter.

Proponents of MAiD call it death with “dignity”, but you can’t have death with dignity when life is not treated with dignity in the first place.

Story after story has come out in the last year. A veteran looking for help told that he could just end his life instead

Multiple Canadians choosing to be killed in a hospital rather than deal with poverty, a lack of housing, or facing increasingly sub-standard care.

In North America, California is supposed to be the progressive mecca. The land of leftism. And yet Canada, with a similar population, saw ten times more assisted suicides. And that was before our laws opened up to people with mental illness.

Of course, the advocates for death won’t stop there. They are now advocating for the right to kill infants with certain disabilities rather than treasure them for every precious second they draw breath.

This petition is not intended to get a quick reaction out of people. We are going to keep this going until we have spread right across Canada, raised awareness in every province and territory, and sounded the alarm in every corner of the country. Until the culture of death in Canada is the only thing ending before its time.

Please sign it and share it. And when you see it again, share it again. There are thousands of lives at stake.
